Since 1975, the Tequa team has excelled in trenching, initially relying on traditional open excavation methods for installing pipes, conduits, cables, and ducting. Our game-changing move came with the investment in horizontal directional drilling equipment, transforming the way we handle underground asset installations.

Directional drilling is a trenchless method that employs cutting-edge machines to pilot precise holes beneath the ground, steering clear of obstacles and existing buried assets. With four Vermeer Directional drills, our seasoned Tequa Trenchless team ensures projects are delivered punctually, within budget, and with a keen eye on environmental considerations.

With over two decades of expertise in the Gippsland Region, we’ve honed our skills to tackle trenchless projects seamlessly, whether passing under roads, dams, critical infrastructure, or challenging ground conditions. Ranging from 20mm to 500mm in diameter and 5m to 150m in length, we’re equipped to handle any challenge.

Tequa boasts a seasoned directional drilling team with modern equipment, certified operators, and comprehensive resources. With a focus on minimising environmental impact, our industry-leading experience spans both single-shot projects and extensive works across multiple kilometers. Offering in-house HDPE pipe installations up to 400mm in size and 150 meters in length, Tequa Trenchless, in collaboration with our Civil Team, has been a driving force behind successful infrastructure projects in the region for over two decades.
